“To Rome with Love”

This is the new entry of our summer tours of 2012, dedicated to our foreign guests who want to see the beautiful places, set of the Woody Allen’s movie in the Eternal city "To Rome with Love".
You can see Piazza Venezia where usually “the pizzardone” (local policeman) controls the traffic and where the movie starts; the “Vittoriano” building in which Michelangelo (Flavio Parenti) meets Hayley (Alison Pill) who wants to see Trevi Fountain.
The wonderful elliptical Piazza del Popolo and the Tridente are the places from which the “crazy day” of Milly (Alessandra Mastronardi) begins.
Navona Square where Jack (Jesse Eisenberg), Sally (Greta Gerwig) and her friend Monica (Ellen Page) have a nice walking by night.
Via Vittorio Veneto, the street of the “Dolce Vita”, where the Leonardo Pisanello (Roberto Benigni) walking with his wife, at the end of the movie, after the surrealistic false notoriety created by the media, understands at last that he has returned to his anonymous, simple and normal life.

For a break, you can taste a traditional espresso in a little Cafè in the “hearth of Rome” or you can have a quick lunch over one marvellous panoramic terrace as Jerry and his wife Phyllis (Woody Allen and Judy Davis) do.
You can continue the visit with the amazing archaeologic complex of Caracalla Bath, or you can walk around Trastevere, one of the most characteristic quarter of Rome, the place of John's youth (Alec Baldwin) - now a famous and rich architect on holiday - who finds near his old house Jack (Jesse Eisenberg) a young student of Architecture as himself and reminding him as he has been at this same age.

It’s possible also to extend the tour and see the wonderful surrounding of Rome as Villa d'Este in Tivoli, a perfect example of Italian Renaissance garden with many fountains and pools or to arrive at the seaside for a dish of fresh fish.
So follow us to see Rome WITH LOVE!
